BBQ Wings

Mouth-watering fall off the bone BBQ chicken wings. Game night will never be the same!

Ingredients

2 lbs Chicken wings or parts
2 pinches Salt
1 tbsp Pepper
2 tsp poultry Spice
2 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
For the light bbq sauce
34 tbsp dark homemade marinade(check file for recipe)
2 tbsp ketchup
2 tsp grace fish and meat sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp cornstarch (optionally,only if you need a really thick sauce)
1 cup water or chicken broth

Directions

Clean excess fat,unwanted hair or anything weird on the surface of the chicken.
Wash with lime/lemon or vinegar under cold running water.
Pat COMPLETELY dry with napkins and season with powdered seasonings only.
Allow meat to marinate overnight or for up to 3 hours before cook time.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and allow the BAKING TRAY or PAN to heat up along with the oven.
Once oven is ready,place meat skin side down on a greased baking tray or pan (GIVE EACH PIECE OF MEAT ADEQUATE SPACE).
Bake for an hour (half hour on each side) or until done.

While the chicken is baking,its time to get the BBQ sauce ready.
Add butter and sugar to pan and allow to caramelize,add other ingredients (except cornstarch) along with water and allow to simmer on low,until all the flavors have combined and the sauce is thicken to the desired constituency.
If you want a really thick sauce,add the cornstarch and allow to simmer for 2 additional minutes.
(MIX CORNSTARCH WITH 2 TBSP WATER BEFORE ADDING TO THE PAN).
Allow sauce to cool while the chicken is baking.

Once chicken is baked,using a baking brush apply the sauce in phases to each side,each time allowing to bake for 5-10 more mins.
Once all parts of the chicken has been smothered in BBQ sauce and baked for the additional minutes,it is now ready.
Remove from oven and allow to cool somewhat before serving with your favorite side......

THE SAUCE IS GREAT TO MAKE ON ITS OWN AND STORE TO USE AS A CONDIMENT WITH YOUR FAV MEATS!!!!
can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks!!!
