HARD DOUGH WHITE BREAD

Fresh bread has never been this easy…Simple step by step recipe….

Do Enjoy!!!

Ingredients

4 cups All purpose flour
¼ cup Brown sugar
1 cup Warm water
6 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 tbsp Honey
2 ¼ tsp Yeast
2 pinches Salt
¾ cup Buttermilk
1 tbsp Vinegar

Directions

1

Add warm Buttermilk and Water to a bowl, stir in sugar and sprinkle yeast on top...
Stir to combine and let sit for a few minutes until foamy.......
In a separate container add flour and salt...stir to combine.......
Once yeast mixture is foamy ,add liquid to mixer (using the dough hook ) and combine.....
Add 4 tbsp soften unsalted butter, honey and vinegar to the mix.....combine on low..........
A regular mixing bowl and wooden spoon can be used as well......

2

Gradually add the flour mixture(flour and salt) and combine on medium speed until the mixture no longer sticks to the side of the mixing bowl.....(might need to add more flour or more liquid to the mix)
Remove dough from bowl, transfer to a floured surface and use hands to knead for about two minutes....
Form into a ball, place into a greased bowl, cover and let sit somewhere warm for an hour.

3

After an hour, using greased or floured hands ,punch dough down and knead for about a minute....
divide into two and form each in the shape of the bread u want....
You can do a fancy braided bread or a regular loaf.....
Add each loaf of bread to a greased loaf pan or any oven safe bake ware.....
Cover once again and let sit for 30 minutes....
After 30 minutes, pre heat oven to 350 degrees......

4

Once oven is heated.....place bread on the middle rack, slowly close the oven door and bake for 30 to 35 minutes
DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN ,BEFORE THE BREAD IS DONE.....
YOU WILL DISRUPT THE RISING PROCESS (ESP IN THE FIRST TEN MINUTES OF BAKE TIME) AND CAUSE THE BREAD TO FALL!!!!
Once the bread is ready (check only in the last ten minutes of bake time), remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining 2 tbsp soften unsalted butter (I sometimes mix the butter with honey) and let sit in the loaf pan for about ten to fifteen minutes...
Remove from pan and eat right away or allow the bread to be completely cooled....
Before wrapping in cling wrap then placing in a freezer friendly zip loc bag and store in the freezer for future use.....
Can be left on the counter for two days ,before placing in fridge section and use daily....
